One thing that i was wondering and you might have talked about it, but I might have missed it, is did you in initiate the conversation of a contract or was it initiated by the company you shoot for? I do not have a contract, but I am trying to research to get into one with one or a few companies I already shoot for. Thank you for your help.

Hi Drew,

I know that Thomas and I mentioned this before we hit 'record', but I may not have been clear when we got into the recorded conversation. My experience was meeting with the general manager of an agency, being asked about volume-discounts for his agents, and the conversation led itself down the path that is the contract I currently fulfill (a little oversimplified, but those are the bullet-points). I think the idea originated on both sides, but it definitely couldn't have been done without the genuine interest of the agency's general manager.

My advice - nurture the relationship you have with your agent's firm as much as the agents themselves, something could come of it.

Thanks Drew,

Mike
