Hi Brian,
Good question - let me start by saying that I try my best not to shoot at my lens' widest setting as it's going to be fairly distorted. So, if I'm using a 10-20, the widest I'll go is 12mm. I recently made the full-frame upgrade and am now using a Sigma 12-24, the widest I'll go on that is 14mm.
To add to that, I love the quote, 'the more you see, the less you know'. I have no idea who coined that phrase (I'm sure I could Google it, though), but it's a good one. I would advise getting closer and showing more as opposed to showing the entire room - that's how people really get a feel for the environment.
Glad you like the podcast Brian!

I was wondering if it's a huge difference between 10mm photo and a 12mm photo. I have a Tokina 12-24 and was wondering if I should replace it with a 10-20 Sigma that I know you're a fan of Sigma. Am I losing a significant amount from my rooms with only being able to go down to 12?
Thank you for the time and energy you've put into everything also. It's been a great help.
